Video Update: Transporter

Hello!

Here's a video update on the Global Transporter; I'm really enjoying doing these video updates and giving you some insight into the design process.  I hope you're enjoying it too!

Enjoy and a very merry Christmas to all :)

  1. I rather like the idea of these video updates-- I love the insight you provide as you walk us through what's on the computer screen!

That said, I'm thinking about what you said with the pipes, conduits, bolts, etc. on the Global Transporter... I feel like what you've got here fits just fine in the TSA setting, where EVERYTHING is industrial; has that "put together" feel. At the same time, I'm wondering if a slightly... softer?... approach would be more appropriate for the Transporter that goes in the Caldoria apartments.

I like your reasoning, with World War 3 and so on, but I seem to recall Caldoria being a very futuristic (after all, it's a floating city), smooth, curvy setting; not so industrial as compared to the TSA.

Although, it's not inconceivable to have a different looking transporter in each location, as long as the functionality is similar, and the two have a recognizably similar appearance (like 2 versions of a product for example).

    Just my 2 cents!
